This site has 33 (and counting) ways of tying shoe laces. This particular link goes to the instructions for one lace. They have more sections which deal with examples like 2 different color laces (to make a checker board).
I've always wanted to try these techniques out. I just bought 2 pairs of shoes and I now have a blank slate to work with.
