It was fairly easy and only required:
- One screw driver
- A 2.5inch SATA hard drive (mine was a Seagate)
- A 2gb notebook memory module (200 pins).
For the hard disk.
- You remove the two screws on the center bottom panel.
- Remove the panel.
- Then remove the screws on the hard drive container.
- Slowly pull the hard drive toward the empty space.
- Use the black tab to get a good grip to lift the hard drive out of the laptop.
- The hard drive container has 4 screws on its sides.
- Remove those screws.
- Remove the hard drive from the container.
- Put your hard drive into the container.
- Screw it into the container.
- Put it back into the notebook.
- Firmly slide it into the SATA port.
- Screw the hard drive container back into the laptop.
For the memory
- You remove the two screws on the center bottom panel.
- Remove the panel.
- To remove the memory, you need to gently pull the clips holding the memory module away from the module. The module will rise above the clips and you will notice it won't lock anymore.
- Lift the memory module so its around a 45 degree angle to its port. Do not lift it if it is still locked by the clips. You can damage both the clips and the module.
- You can now remove the memory module by pulling it while maintaining a 45 degree angle. Be gentle.
- Put your new memory module at a 45 degree into the port.
- Gently push down on it until clicks into place between the clips.
